HEALTHY SKIN

 

DO’s

  • DO CLEANSE, EXFOLIATE AND MOISTURISE REGULARLY.
  • DO ALWAYS STICK TO YOUR SKINCARE REGIME.
  • DO DEVISE A SKINCARE REGIME BASED ON YOUR SPECIFIC SKIN TYPE/ NEEDS.
  • DO ALWAYS INVEST IN/ USE SKINCARE PRODUCTS THAT CATER TO YOUR UNIQUE SKINCARE CONCERNS.
  • DO USE ONLY THOSE SKINCARE PRODUCTS THAT DO NOT CONTAIN TOXIC/ HARMFUL INGREDIENTS IN THEM AND ARE SAFE FOR USE ON HUMAN SKIN.
  • DO APPLY SUNSCREEN EVEN IF YOU ARE STEPPING OUT IN THE SUN BRIEFLY.
  • DO EAT A BALANCED DIET. GREAT SKIN STARTS ON THE INSIDE. CONSUME PROTEINS, GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES, ALL KINDS OF FRUITS, VITAMINS, ANTIOXIDANTS AND OMEGA 3 FATTY ACIDS REGULARLY.
  • DO EXERCISE A LITTLE EVERYDAY AND TRY TO GET A PROPER SLEEP OF MINIMUM 6-8 HRS DAILY.
  • DO CLEANSE THOROUGHLY BEFORE APPLYING ANY MAKEUP AND ALWAYS REMOVE YOUR MAKEUP BEFORE GOING TO BED.
  • DO CONSULT A DERMATOLOGIST; WITHOUT ANY DELAY; IF YOU HAVE ANY SKIN PROBLEM/ ISSUES. (Most of the skin issues can be prevented from spreading/ increasing if timely treatment is taken.)

DON’Ts

  • DON’T USE TOO MANY SKINCARE PRODUCTS. KEEP YOUR SKINCARE REGIME SPECIFIC YET SIMPLE.
  • DONT CHANGE SKINCARE PRODUCTS FREQUENTLY UNLESS YOUR SKIN REACTS TO IT. (For skin takes about 3-4 weeks to show any results/ signs of improvement.)
  • DON’T WASH OR EXFOLIATE YOUR SKIN TOO OFTEN.
  • DON’T FORGET TO CONSUME AROUND 2 LTS WATER DAILY.
  • DON’T FORGET YOUR NECK, BACK AND HANDS IN YOUR SKINCARE REGIME. (These areas age the fastest and are all but mostly ignored in our skincare routines.)
  • DON’T SMOKE.
  • DON’T USE EXPIRED OR VERY OLD SKINCARE PRODUCTS.
  • DON’T SHARE SKINCARE/BEAUTY PRODUCTS.
  • DON’T TOUCH YOUR FACE VERY OFTEN;AS YOUR HANDS CARRY UNSEEN BACTERIA.
  • DON’T USE UN-CLEAN TOWELS FOR YOUR SKIN.
  • DON’T FORGET TO TAKE BATH AFTER EXCERCISING.
  • DON’T FORGET TO CLEANSE YOUR SKIN THROUGHLY AFTER ANY PARLOUR PROCEDURE (for eg threading, waxing etc). ALSO TRY TO USE DISPOSABLE MATERIAL FOR ALL YOUR BEAUTY PROCEDURES BE IT AT HOME OR AT BEAUTY PARLOURS.
  • DON’T FORGET TO REPLACE YOUR MAKE-UP SPONGES/ BRUSHES REGULARLY.
  • DON’T FORGET TO COMBAT STRESS.
