Coconut oil is rich in antioxidants and can prevent the formation of free radicals that are one of the primary causes of early aging. It’s also a natural skin-softening moisturizer and helps in making the fine lines less prominent. Massage some coconut oil into your skin each night before going to bed; this will help replenish your skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles while you sleep. (Note: Plz avoid if you have acne prone skin).

Glycerine penetrates into the intracellular layer of skin very fast and pumps in healthy amount of moisture. This helps in smoothening skin and improves the inherent elasticity of the skin. Apply pure glycerine and massage everyday in circular upward motion. 

Castor oil acts as a rich moisturizer that can be used daily for keeping the skin under the eyes soft and supple and also preventing wrinkles from appearing. Skin under the eyes is very delicate and requires daily moisturizing to keep it away from damage and wrinkles. 

Coconut milk is one of the best ingredients to keep wrinkles at bay because of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Preparation & Application: Grate fresh coconut , about 1 cup and squeeze the milk out of it (don’t use canned coconut milks containing preservatives as that won’t work for you). Dip a cotton ball and apply this to the targeted areas. Keep it for about 10-15 minutes. Then rinse off to achieve a glowing wonderful skin.

Olive oil contains anti-oxidants and vitamins A and E, which repair skin, regenerate skin cells, and protect skin against damage from pollutants. You can use it topically, as described below, and in your cooking to get maximum benefits. Preparation & Application: Mix equal parts of extra virgin olive oil and raw honey. Massage this into the wrinkled skin. Allow it to absorb a little by keeping it on for 10 mins before rinsing off with lukewarm water.


The base (main ingredient in which other components are mixed) of your face pack should be chosen according to your skin type.  The key ingredients (described henceforth in this section) that help in combating hyper-pigmentation should be added with or in the below mentioned face pack base.  

  • FOR OILY SKIN: gram flour or besan, fuller’s earth or multani mitti.
  • FOR COMBINATION SKIN: Oats, gram flour or besan.
  • FOR DRY SKIN: Oats, milk cream or malai.







Cinnamon is known to have the ability to accelerate collagen production, which helps the skin stay firm and prevent sagging. Ginger is rich in antioxidants that inhibit the breakdown of the elastin that keeps your skin firm. Preparation & Application: Prepare a paste by mixing cinnamon powder, turmeric powder, brown sugar, honey, juice of ginger and olive oil. Apply and massage in upward circular motion. Keep it for 5-10 mins before washing off with lukewarm water. (Cinnamon may not suit people with sensitive skin).

The vitamin A content in carrots helps to increase the production of collagen in the skin which leads to tightening of the skin. Potato helps in making the skin smooth and reduces appearance of wrinkles. Preparation & Application: Boil one carrot and one potato. Mash it to make a paste. Mix a pinch of turmeric to it. Apply this paste and wash it after 20 minutes with warm water.

Egg whites contain vitamins and nutrients your skin needs to stay healthy, and egg white masks tighten skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Preparation & Application: Mix white of 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of milk, 3 drops of avocado/olive/coconut oil into a blender. Stir well until smooth. Apply to wrinkled skin and leave on 30 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water.[/gdlr_tab]

Avocado fruit is loaded with anti-aging elements. This very rich source of vitamin E and monounsaturated fat can show you stunning results in getting rid of wrinkles. Preparation & Application: Take out the paste of half of avocado. Grind some flaxseeds to make its powder. In a bowl, add avocado paste, flaxseeds powder, fresh cream and honey. Mix well to get a smooth paste. Apply on face or other body parts with wrinkles. Leave for an hour. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Papaya has certain enzymes that remove your dead skin cells to give place to new ones. Banana, on the other hand, is loaded with beneficial nutrients that help in producing new skin cells. Therefore, while you can get rid of old sagging skin, you will generate new younger looking skin at the same time. This mask is particularly effective for men. Preparation & Application: Mash a few papaya pieces and banana pieces. Mix them well and apply. Leave for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Almonds are packed with fiber, vitamin E, iron, calcium, folic acid, zinc, and oleic acid, all of which help to delay the aging process and prevent wrinkles. Preparation & Application: Soak a handful of almonds in raw milk overnight. In the morning, peel them and grind or blend them into a thick paste. Add 1 teaspoon honey. Massage the paste into skin. Leave on for 20-30 mins before rinsing off with lukewarm water.
